Se concede asilo a quienes buscan escapar de la persecuci\u00f3n en su pa\u00eds de origen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hay dos tipos distintos de asilo: asilo afirmativo y defensivo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Asilo afirmativo<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para que un solicitante obtenga asilo a trav\u00e9s de este proceso, debe estar f\u00edsicamente presente en los EE. UU. Al presentar su solicitud de asilo.
